The Cats of Hallow Avenue

Hello. I am Marcy of Hallow avenue. Me and my two kits Jade and Ivy live here in an old abandoned house at the end of the avenue. If you havent noticed, I am a cat. I would like a family to live with but i dont want to be parted from my kits! So here I am, living in this abandoned house.
Today I went for a walk outside while Jade and Ivy were asleep. I went into the forest. Its at the back of the house so not many poeple go there. As I was walking I could hear something faintly in the distance.
It got louder and louder until I saw two kids coming my way. Im not sure if they saw me, but just in case I ran up a tree. If i didnt do that, sadly, they wouldnt've heard or saw me.
"Hey May, come look at this cat!" What are they saying? oh well, atleast they can't reach me from up here.
"Lets try to get it down!" What are they doing? all of a sudden I fell out of the tree
unconscious.
"Um Danny maybe we shouldn't have thrown a rock at it!"
"Yeah, maybe your right. Lets take it home and take care of it. Hopefully it will wake up"
I woke with an ache in my leg and my head.
"Shes awake mom!" The boy said. Where am I? Weren't these the people I saw in the forest? I sprang up hissing. I fell back to the floor since my leg still ached.
"Theres something wrong with her leg!"
"Ok go get something to wrap her leg up in ok?" The girl left the room and got this weird white fabric stuff. She wrapped it around my leg.
"Is that better?" My stomache rumbled and I let out a meow.
"Your hungry now I see. I'll go see if we have anything to give you." This time the boy left. Mmmm, all I can smell is tuna!
"Hows this?" He said. "We dont have any real cat food so this is the best I could do."
I purred as I ate. All of a sudden I looked up from the tuna. MY KITS! Somehow I forgot all about them! I limped to the door.
"No no no! You cant go outside! Your hurt. Later when your leg is better ok?"
I started screeching.
"Oh come here! Lets go find you a place to rest." The girl picked me up and took me down the hall. There was no point in trying to resist, I am already hurt. she took me into a room.
"Heres a nice bed for you to sleep on. This is my room. Stay here as long as you want and i'll come and check on you from time to time."
She put me down and I rubbed against her. I layed down starting to fall asleep.
"Good-night kitty." She said with a smile and kissed me on the head.
I soon fell asleep and was dreaming about Jade and Ivy. Are they ok? What if they can't find food? Will someone find them? I think they will be ok.
They are 8 weeks old so I think they know what to do. But they are just learning to hunt!! I woke up startled. The boy was standing in front of me.
"Are you ok kitty? You seemed scared a second ago when you were sleeping." He started petting me.
Wow, this is such a nice family! I hope they will let my kits stay here if i ever get outside again. I should probably go outside to see actually where I am since now my leg feels better!
